Templewood House

Book your stay with us!

A unique, heritage property situated on a working farm.

Built in 1901 and formerly a Federation country house, this lodge sits on a 200 acre equestrian property, surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery in the Adelaide Hills.

A special kind of environment has been created for guests. The Edwardian drawing room with heritage fire place welcomes you. Enjoy uninterrupted views of The Adelaide Hills and Millbrook Reservoir Reserve from our semi-enclosed veranda, lawns and gazebo. Kangaroos, koalas and emus can often be seen in their natural habitat.

There are 4 double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, reverse cycle air conditioning and dual electric blankets.

For your privacy, the lodge is hired exclusively to one booking at a time. For 4 guests we provide 2 bedrooms, for 6 guests we provide 3 bedrooms and for 8 guests we provide all 4 bedrooms. As all bedrooms are set up for 2 guests and include their own en-suite bathroom, single guests requiring their own room are required to pay for 2 guests.

A spacious kitchen is provided with tea and coffee making facilities, gas appliances, microwave and dishwasher.

Outstanding catering is available on request (external catering is not permitted). Perfect for retreats and/or offsite workshops where all guests are staying onsite.

Why not combine your experience with a horse ride next door at Templewood Horse Riding Centre?
