Weddings at Templewood House
From the property’s stately driveway to the beautiful lawns, gardens and meadow, endless opportunities are available for wedding photos. Immersed amongst native gums, the lush green gardens feature a classic English gazebo and plenty of space for drink vans or ice cream carts to be set up.
A short walk to the High Paddock is rewarded with stunning 360 degree views over rolling hills and beautiful sunsets. Here you’ll meet the friendly horses obliging of a photo or two and who can also escort you to your wedding ceremony should you wish.
Inside Templewood house is a large airconditioned drawing room with high ceilings and original open fireplaces that were built in 1901. This space is ideal for wedding ceremonies in inclement weather and can also be used for getting ready. Upstairs there are four double rooms available for overnight accommodation, each with an en-suite bathroom.

- Bridal retreat so you can get ready onsite and have somewhere private to escape throughout the reception.
- Exclusive use of lawns, gardens & gazebo for ceremony and photography.
- Your ceremony decor, including arbour, up to 32 wooden chairs and signing table (more available, charges apply);
- Use of air conditioned/log fire drawing room & front veranda (fully enclosable) should weather be inclement (some limitations on numbers that will fit in this area.)
- Your floored pavilion with a fairy light ceiling and dance-floor to celebrate the night away.
- Occasional and pavilion furniture so you don’t have to worry about arranging vendors to deliver and pick up furniture (some conditions apply).
- Festoon lighting strewn across the lawn and fairy lights hung from the house to bring your Pinterest boards to life.
- Your bar, glasses, ice and chilling vessels and of course our friendly service team to serve your BYO drinks (some conditions apply).
- A large commercial kitchen and cool room – BYO your own caterer or food-truck;

- Private area for bride if required before ceremony
- Onsite car parking
- A 3 hour booking time to allow for your set up and pack down
- No minimum guest numbers
Amazing venue! We got married at Templewood in February 2023. We booked and communicated …with the team from a different state with no issues. Stunning venue. Even though it was towards the end of summer the venue was still green and lush – we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! The accomodation was fantastic and removed a lot of stress for us with interstate guests. Thanks heaps to the Templewood team!
